Spurlock, vice-president of the college and former chemistry professor, addressed the group on the subject of space, a principal study of his. And Dr. James M. Brown of the English department spoke on "Thought Processes and Language Practices."

W. N. Masters Chemical society is associated with the American Chemical society. It is sponsored by Dr. R. B. Escue and meets the first and third Wednesdays of every month. Members undergo a period of pledgeship before they are initiated.
