Yarborough and Purcell speak to YDs

The 600 Young Democrats at North Texas promote a deeper interest in politics and the Democratic Party through their campaigning efforts in behalf of various candidates. In addition, several well-known party members, including Ralph Yarborough, Dan Yarborough and Graham Purcell, have come to speak to the club on current party activities and goals for the future.

Members get together socially through such activities as a dance at the Club House, a lake party in the spring, and a party given in Dallas by Democrat Bill Jones, once a congressional candidate.
