Roger M. Ramey Members Coordinate Finances of AFROTC

The Roger M. Ramey Club was organized in 1952 to coordinate and regulate the finances and social activities for the 835th Air Force ROTC Group. Highlights of the year included the Homecoming float project in the fall and the formal Military Ball in the spring.

Club members are representatives from each squadron and classroom and approve student military unit expenditures for field trips for the Sabres, Arnold Air Society, Angel Flight and AFROTC Band.

The military organization was named in 1952 for the late Brig. Gen. Roger M. Ramey, a former member of the Board of Regents and a North Texas graduate.
