Government Pre-Law Criminal Code Protects RightsDistrict Court Judge W. C. Boyd told members of the Government Pre-Law Club this year that "the purpose of the new criminal code is to protect the rights of the individual, not to pamper criminals." The judge spoke in the second of a series of club sponsored programs, which have included a panel on "The Supreme Court and Church-State Relationships" with Dr. Russell Ware, Baptist Bible Chair teacher; Roscoe Adkins of the government faculty and Tim Trickey, a graduate student. The club is an organization for pre-law and government majors. The Yucca, 1966 |
