Defensive lineman Brandon Kennedy, or "Booger" as many of us know him, was the first African American to earn Player of the Year in the Sun Belt Conference in 2002. He won the award again in 2003.

He's probably the only North Texas football player to have a bobble-head souvenir doll made in his honor.
