Basketball Athletic Barrier Breaker Jesse Ratliff

In 1992, Jesse Ratliff gained national recognition when Sports Illustrated magazine named him Player of the Week for his outstanding performance. He was Southland Conference Freshman of the Year in 1990 and earned first team All-Conference honors his remaining three seasons.

Ratliff was named to the North Texas Hall of Fame in 2001.
