Since 2002, Jalie Mitchell has held the career record in points scored with 1,754 field goals. She also holds the number one position in free throws.

Mitchell earned All-Conference honors each of her four years at North Texas, and in 2002 was the first North Texas woman to be named Player of the Year by the Sun Belt Conference.

In 2002, Jalie Mitchell won the ultimate honor - having her jersey - Number 44 - retired.
