How to Scan
a Picture using Photoshop
1. Open Adobe Photoshop (Start>Adobe>Photoshop 7.0)
2. Import a scan (File>Import>Epson Twain 5). A scan dialog box will appear to assist you in the scanning process.
3. The scanner will automatically begin scanning in full automatic mode. To switch to manual mode, press cancel on the scanner dialog box.
How to Scan
Text using Text Bridge
1. Open Text Bridge (Start>Scanning>Text Bridge)
2. Scan Text by clicking on the Get Pages button.
3. After scanning all pages, click the Recognize button.
4. Finally, click the Save As button to save as a word document.
How to Scan
Text using Kurzweil 1000
1. Open Kurzweil 1000 (Start>Scanning>Kurzweil 1000)
2. Go to Scan>Start New Scan or press F9 to begin scanning text.
3. To save, go to File>Save As. Choose Microsoft Word 6.0 as the format. Save to acslabuser’s My Documents.
