ViewPlus Translator

This web page describes how to use the ViewPlus Translator to convert your text to Braille.

After you prepare your document, save it. The translator can translate text to Braille, but it has difficulty translating Braille back to text (so make sure you always keep a text version of your document). When you are ready to translate your text, follow these instructions:

  1. Highlight the text you want to translate (if you don't highlight anything the ViewPlus Translator will translate the entire document)
  2. Open the ViewPlus Translator (click on Start > Accessibility > ViewPlus > ViewPlus Translator).
  3. In the ViewPlus Translator window, select your document in the Target Application section.

  4. Change the output options you need.

  5. Click the Translate Application Text button (the translation process could take a few minutes).
