Financial Support
Requirements
Before UNT can
prepare an I-20 for you, UNT must receive
financial
support documents from you. U.S. government regulations
require UNT to receive official certification from an
international student’s bank, financial institution, or sponsor,
verifying that sufficient funds are available for the 9-month
academic year.
Scholarship
Information
Education is
expensive in the United States. It is difficult to secure a
scholarship to fund a college education in the United States.
Therefore, you must plan ahead. Explore a variety of options.
SEVIS Fee
Reimbursement
UNT will reimburse students for $100 SEVIS
Fee. Students will
be reimbursed after enrolling in the UNT Intensive English
Language Institute, undergraduate or graduate degree programs.
Working
On and Off Campus
UNT
offers approximately 3,500
student
jobs on campus and a Student Employment Center to assist
students in finding jobs.
