NO TOEFL

No TOEFL score is required for graduates of IELI who go to UNT for most undergraduate and graduate programs. This conditional admission is due to the success of IELI graduates at the University of North Texas.

Half-Time University Study
Another privilege for IELI students who gain conditional admission is that advanced students in level 6 may attend university classes half time while they are finishing their English studies at IELI.

UNT requires a TOEFL score of 550 paper/213 computer based test. Some exceptions apply. Check with your major department for any special requirements.

TOEFL is administered at the UNT's Counseling and Testing Center   in the University Union Building.  All testing is computer based. No paper based TOEFL is available.
