Intensive English Language Institute

IELI Teachers

The IELI teachers are full-time, professional teachers. Every teacher has an M.A. or special certification in language teaching. Most  teachers have more than ten years experience in teaching English as a Second Language. Many of them have taught at other schools. They have trained teachers and lectured about teaching English as a Second Language.

Every IELI teacher schedules two hours outside of class each week to meet with students who have questions or who would like additional help. The teachers are a very important part of the IELI program.
