Helpdesk Website Updated

        Our updated Website at http://www.ccss.unt.edu/helpdesk/ is chock full of all kinds of useful information. That location is the main entry point to the site; http://www.ccss.unt.edu/helpdesk/hdesks.htm points to the UNT Computer Support page that carries links to the Computing Center and all of distributed support areas and labs that I know about. It alsocarries the link to our System Status page, where we try to keepnotices current about system outages or problems.

        The Helpbutton on the main UNT (www.unt.edu) Web page now leads to these same two pages instead of the old ones on www-lan. This site now has MANY more FAQ's and instructionalpages about dialup and PPP, and TCP/IP application use, and to the softwaresite license informational pages.

        Like all Web sites, it is never "complete" so we still are working onmany parts of it, and will continue to add to it as time allows. We hopethat it makes finding information about campus computing issues a littleeasier for you.
