A Tragic Loss

James Yarbrough, long-time staff member in Academic Computing Services, passed away on July 2, 1996 due to complications from cancer. James' death came as a great blow to all those who knew and worked with him. James had been battling cancer for about a year and was thought to be winning until shortly before his death.

James had B.S. and M.B.A. degrees from UNT. He had completed all of his course work and was working on his dissertation for a Ph.D. in Sociology at TWU at the time of his death. James was also a talented musician and composer and was an excellent golfer.

James' family has requested that those who wish to remember James, please make a donation in his name to Ann's Haven Hospice here in Denton.
