Only UNT students or incoming students that have registered for an orientation session may take the Accuplacer at UNT.
Cost: A testing fee of $25.00 will be billed to your student account. You do not have to pay the day of the test.
Time: Allow approximately 1 1/2 hours for each section taken (The test is self-paced, so you may leave when finished.).
What to bring: Picture ID.
What not to bring: Payment, cell phone, backpack, food or personal calculators (a calculator is provided for the math section).
Retesting: UNT students can take all or part of the Accuplacer up to two (2) times per long semester and one time in the summer. Students who do not meet college readiness standards after testing for the second time must register for and complete the required developmental class(es) the next semester they enroll. $25.00 is assessed each time a student takes all or part of the Accuplacer.
