Student Recreation Center
Located at Chestnut and N. Texas Blvd, the Student Recreational Center opened in August of 2003. The Student Recreation Center contains two swimming pools, gym courts for basketball, badminton, and volley ball, a climbing wall, weight room, a jogging track, soccer court, outdoor pursuit center and aerobics classrooms. The Center received an award for Outstanding Indoor/Outdoor Facility in 2004 from the National Intramural-Recreational Sports Association.
Traditions Hall
Traditions Hall, located on the west side of campus next to Santa Fe Square and close to the new Student Recreation Center, also opened in August of 2003. With a capacity for 291 students, it is primarily private rooms with suite bathrooms.
Chemistry Building
The construction of the new Chemistry building began in June 2003 and opened Fall 2005. This 105,000 square foot building provides teaching and research labs, offices, and space for chaired professorship.
