Football Stadium

The proposed new football stadium will be located at the Eagle Point Campus, behind the Radisson Hotel. A 30,000 capacity stadium has been proposed both to replace and relocate the existing Fouts Field. The positive aspects of building and relocating a new stadium are traffic control, enhancing the image and reputation of UNT, providing a better atmosphere for spectators, reducing noise and lights by having a below ground facility and improving the recruitment of quality athletic students. The construction of the stadium is dependent on available funds.
