A number of practitioners from the Dallas-Ft. Worth Metroplex hold special adjunct professor appointments in Applied Gerontology. These individuals, who are recognized in North Texas and nationally for their achievements in delivering services to the aged, are also accomplished teachers. Each holds a continuing responsibility for a core required course in our graduate program and/or key electives at the undergraduate level. The presence of these individuals enriches our academic programs in countless ways and provides our department with a direct collaborative link with the service community. |
