* Is on-campus housing available?

UNT has approximately 10 residence halls. The vast majority of the students living in campus housing are undergraduates. Most graduate students (and many undergraduates as well) live in apartments or private residences in the DFW metroplex. * If I visit UNT, can I get a tour of the campus?

Campus tours can be scheduled at the times below with a twenty-four-hour notice.

Monday through Thursday: 9 am, 10 am, 2 pm, 3 pm

Friday: 9 am, 10 am, 2 pm

Saturday: 10 am, 1 pm

Sunday and holidays: No tours available

An Online Tour Registration Form is available for the convenience of prospective students and their families.

* How many students does UNT have?

Approximately 28,000.

* Where is Denton located?

Denton is located between and about 35 miles north of Dallas and Fort Worth, and about 50 miles south of the Red River and the Oklahoma border.
