Favorite/Best UNT Experience: My favorite UNT experience would honestly have to be finding out that I was going to be an Eagle Ambassador. When I decided to try out, I had no idea that it was going to be as difficult as a process as it was. The multiple interviews, while nerve-racking and scary, taught me so much about speaking with others. It was intense, and after every round I was very impatient until I found out that I had made it to the next round. I didn't realize how much I actually wanted this experience until I started doing it, and I couldn't imagine not doing it now. When I found out that I had made it, along with my best friend, it was a wonderful feeling that I don't believe I will ever forget. It proved to me that I can do anything if I really work for it and set my mind to it. This proof will not only help me in the rest of my years in college, but it will also help me in life. I am very honored and privileged to be one of the Eagle Ambassadors!

Advice for Prospective Students: UNT offers more than just education. While our degrees and classes are top-notch and we throw many incredible people out into the world after graduating here, we also offer a chance to learn more about yourself and others. We offer a chance to grow and learn, in a way I don't believe you can learn anywhere else. Our friendships are tighter than any others and our memories will last forever. Get involved, because being a new freshman on a big campus can be very scary and meeting others with common interests is great. There's something to be involved wherever you look, just find a group that interests you and join it! You will not regret it. Try not to be shy, because everyone on the campus is glad to help you. UNT is a home, not just a school.
