What has been your favorite/best experience at UNT so far? The very first time I came to UNT, it was to audition for the College of Music. From my experience of previous auditions, I expected the environment to be stressful and unwelcoming. Much to my surprise, as soon as I entered the building, I was approached by a girl who was already a member of the program I was auditioning for - she gave me such a warm welcome and wished me luck. I immediately felt very comfortable and knew more than ever that UNT was the school I wanted to be at.
What advice would you give to prospective students? Get to know your academic advisors well early on in school. I can't even begin to say how much my advisors have helped me to make sure I'm not getting behind in my degree and have offered valuable knowledge that I know will help me do better as a UNT student. Take advantage of your resources! They're here to help you.
