UNT student receiving financial advice

UNT’s Student Money Management Center — one of the first of its kind at an American university — earned a 2007 Gold Excellence Award from the National Association of Student Personnel Administrators and a 2007 Star Award from the Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board. The center, which helps students become financially literate, offers workshops and resources on money management topics, provides financial counseling consultations for students and administers two loan programs.

The University of North Texas makes a first-class education possible for thousands of students each year through its commitment to providing a private school experience at a public school cost and supporting students with considerable undergraduate need-based financial aid programs.
