My current research interest involves developing a methodology that will improve communication between health, social service and non-profit service provider, and low and middle income clients. I am completing work on a book focused on "Health Seeking Behavior and Ethnicity"; additionally, I will begin work on a book on "World Cultures". It is my continued interest to examine areas related to issues of sustainability, and discovering ways to improve survival for persons living at the lower end of the class scale. Such research involves developing coordinated strategies across the living environment of persons included in the study. I am interested in; African American Material Culture; Traditional and Folk Medicine; Community Development Issues; Issues of Culture and Aging' and studies of spiritual/religious/non-religious behavior.
