The first step in declaring your major in anthropology is to talk with a member of the anthropology faculty. You may visit with a faculty member during his/her office hours or call to make an appointment. The anthropology faculty member will discuss with you class choices, anthropology sub-fields and tracks, and career options, In addition to answering your questions and directing you to campus resources, a faculty adviser can recommend other faculty mentors who share your research interests.
Following your initial meeting with your faculty adviser, you should file your degree plan with the College of Public Affairs and Community Service
Student Services Center.
You should arrange to meet with your anthropology faculty adviser at least once each academic year to discuss your academic progress.
