Academic Programs    Masters Degree      Degree Requirements      Curriculum      Autism Interest Area    Bachelors Degree      Degree Requirements      Curriculum        Distance Learning	Masters Degree Autism Interest Area Behavior analysis graduate student majors with particular interest in early childhood intervention/autism have an option to take a graduate course sequence in this area. The purpose of the sequence is to produce professionals who are well versed in the behavioral literature and competent in the application of behavior technology as it is implemented in autism early intervention. Each course involves lectures, readings, demonstrations, and also associated laboratory experience which includes guided practice working with children and their families. Prerequisite: BEHV 5130 (internet course) Graduate Course Sequence in Applied Behavior Analysis and Autism: BEHV 5028 ABA and Autism 1: Basic Techniques (lab 5 hrs/week) Open to all BEHV majors who have met the prerequisite and other majors with permission from instructor. Non-majors not eligible for lab. BEHV 5029 Autism II: Program Development (lab 8 hrs/week). Open to majors only. BEHV 5030- Autism III: ABA Supervision and Training Practicum.
