Douglas P. Field Scholarship for Graduate Student Research

This scholarship was established to honor the memory of Douglas P. Field, Ph.D. (1952-2001). Doug was in the first cohort of students to receive his master’s degree in behavior analysis from UNT, graduating in 1992. He received his Ph.D. from Temple University, working with Dr. Philip Hineline as his major professor. He was conducting postdoctoral research at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, with Dr. Howard Rachlin, when he died of pneumonia.

The Field scholarship is available to graduate students in behavior analysis for the purpose of offsetting costs of completing an experimental thesis.
