WWW-Lan is Gone

Mark Wilcox, UNT's Campus Web Administrator, has been trying to "kill" the Novell-based Web site (www-lan.unt.edu) for some time because it is a drain on the limited Central Web Support staff. All departments that had Web pages on www-lan have moved them to Calliope (www.unt.edu.) Many staff members had personal pages on the Novell server that was pointed to by www-lan also. Those should have been moved to http://people.unt.edu by now.

If you had a personal page on www-lan.unt.edu and didn't move it but would like to, you should still be able to accomplish this. You can find help on setting up personal Web pages by visiting http://people.unt.edu. Forwarding from www-lan has been set up so that anyone trying to get to your old address will have some indication that your Web page has moved.
