Promotions, Transfers, and Other Changes

• Brenda Rivoire, CC1 Server/User Support, is now Brenda Kirk since she was married on September 4.

• Ty Young, who was the Assistant Manager of the Helpdesk is now an ACS UNIX Systems Administrator.

• Joann Luksich, promoted to Data Entry Supervisor.

• Ramona Aref-Azad, moved from Computer Operations to Production Control.

• Jenny Jopling, now Associate Director of the Center for Distributed Learning, a new center at UNT.

• Ryan Hickey, promoted to Assistant Manager of the Helpdesk from a part-time student consultant position.

• Dianna Laakso, promoted to Lead UNIX Systems Administrator.

• The Notes and User Network Management/User Support Team moved from Network and Microcomputer Support to Administrative Computing Services. Team members are:

Awards

• Richard Harris, Associate Vice President for Computing, was presented with an award for 35 years of service in August, 1998.

• Rong Wang, UNT/HSC Payroll/Personnel Data Systems Programmer/Analyst, was presented with an award for 10 years of service in August, 1998. n
