Transitions

We welcome the following new employees:

The following people no longer work in the Computing Center:

• Veeramachanent Rajendra, Report Distribution Clerk (part-time).

• Bhavani Jampala, Computer Operations (part-time).

Other Changes

• Ryan Hickey, Support Services Assistant Manager, has been promoted into a new vacant Computer Support Specialist position in Academic Computing Services' UNIX Systems group.

• Vicky Walker-Brooks, Programmer Analyst on the UNT/HSC Payroll/Personnel Data Systems team, has been promoted into a vacant Programmer Analyst position in the Database/Central Programming Support area of Administrative Computing.

Publications, Presentations

• Mark Wilcox, Campus Web Administrator, presented a paper at the SIGS Conference on Java in San Jose on October 19. His presentation was on advanced uses of LDAP (in particular with Java).
