New SkillSoft Web Developer Curriculum Now on CD-ROM

The new SkillSoft curriculum (announced in last month's Benchmarks Online) covering Adobe products, Macromedia products, FrontPage 2002, and basic Web tools and design is now available on CD-ROM. CDs have been made covering the following areas: Adobe Products (includes Acrobat training), Adobe Acrobat (the Acrobat training only), Macromedia Products, FrontPage 2002, and Web Power! (HTML and Web design basics). These CD-ROMs can be obtained by contacting Claudia Lynch (lynch@unt.edu, 565-4068) in the Computing Center. The CD-ROMs are free of charge to members of the UNT community.

The CD-ROM request and server table of contents page has been modified and updated to include all new courseware acquisitions. The table of contents is now organized by subject matter and one can easily click on the CD-ROM and server topics to view their complete course listings. Note that SkillSoft courses appear in alphabetical order on the actual server so make careful note of the course title before trying to find it.

All Health Science Center personnel can obtain CD-ROM instructional materials by contacting Suzanne Gravois in the HSC library. The HSC charges a nominal service fee to copy the CD-ROM.
