UNT Asset Management/Surplus Department: Open for Business!The UNT Asset Management/Surplus Department recently announced the launch of their new website. UNT is now allowed by the State to sell surplus property to the general public through direct sales, providing the property is determined to be of no further use to the university. No more waiting for sales, no more buying in lots! Please note that items must be removed when sold. The directions to the surplus warehouse are located on the website listed below. Items range in variety from furniture and bikes to electronics and audio-visual equipment. Vehicles are also included. Digital pictures of all items for sale can be found on the Website. The basis for sale is first come, first served. Cash (exact amount), checks (with valid drivers license), or money orders (exact amount) will be accepted. Asset Management/Surplus is open for business every Monday, Wednesday and Thursday, from Noon to 4:00 p.m.. Check out the website and tell all your friends: www.unt.edu/pps/DirectSale.htm .
