Leatherbury named acting VP for information technology

According to an official notice that was distributed via e-mail as well as an article in InHouse, "Maurice Leatherbury, who has served in the computing and information technology center for about 15 years, will serve as acting vice president for information technology and chief information officer effective September 1. He will continue to oversee the university’s computing needs, and will participate in technology planning discussions at the highest level. Creating an independent Vice President for Information Technology was recommended in two peer reviews we instituted over the past three years."
