If an individual is at imminent suicidal or homicidal risk, or may
be a danger to self or others, often the safest and fastest way to
ensure immediate care is to call 911 or go to the nearest hospital

timely basis: Crises or Emergencies by nature are
time-critical. The Counseling and Testing
Center is not able to field all calls after hours,
but there are many good, helpful community services
