Career Assessments
An important part of the services offered by the Student Counseling Center is career counseling.
Career counselors are available to meet with students to assist with the choice of a career or major – in ways tailored to meet individual needs.
A very helpful aspect of this counseling process is career assessment – determining interests, values, environmental orientations, personal likes and dislikes through objective testing.
Assessment instruments such as the Strong Interest Inventory, The Self-Directed Search and the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator are all available to assist students with making that important major or career choice.
