Air Force organization and mission; two major air commands.

1040. The Air Force Today. 1 hour. (1;1) Remaining Air Force major air 
commands and support commands; Air Force cooperation with the Army and 
Navy.

2030. The Development of Air Power. 1 hour. (1;1) History of the Air 
Force from dirigibles and balloons through World War I, interwar years 
and World War II.

2040. The Development of Air Power. 1 hour. (1;1) Air Force history 
since World War II, through Cold War, Korea and Vietnam; peacetime uses 
of air power since World War II.

2920. Cooperative Education in Aerospace Studies. 1-3 hours. Supervised 
work in a job directly related to the student's major, professional 
field of study or career objective. Prerequisite(s): student must meet 
employer's requirements and have consent of the division chair. May be 
repeated for credit.

leadership theory, functions and practices.

3320. Air Force Management. 4 hours. (3;1) Management tools, practices 
and controls; problem solving; planning, organizing, coordinating, 
directing and controlling functions of Air Force management.

4310. National Security Forces in Contemporary American Society. 4 
hours. (3;1) Examines the formulation of U.S. national security policy, 
and organization and implementation of national security; context of 
national security; evolution of strategy; management of conflict; civil 
military interaction.

4320. National Security Forces. 4 hours. (3;1) Military strategy, 
conflict, management, defense policy making, defense policy case studies 
and military justice.

4920. Cooperative Education in Aerospace Studies. 1-3 hours. Supervised 
work in a job directly related to the student's major, professional 
field of study or career objective. Prerequisite(s): 12 hours credit in 
aerospace studies; student must meet employer's requirements and have 
consent of the division chair. May be repeated for credit.
