Using Thomson/Netg/Knowledgenet Training

After logging in to the UNT computer-based training system and selecting the Knowledgenet button (online tutorial for doing this is located at http://www.unt.edu/cbt/general_access.html), you will eventually be presented with your personal Knowledgenet homepage. The picture below shows what the page will look like:

Please note that everything is accessible via this homepage. Simply click on the course links to load the courses. Also in the upper-right-hand corner you will see a link called Courses Completed. Click on this link to view and print a progress report on your online learning.

After you click on the course link you want, the course will launch using the Macromedia Flash Player - this can take awhile and it is recommended that you shut down all other desktop applications before using this online learning (it is a big memory 'hog'!):

Finally you will get the courseware. Be sure to have your sound turned on because there are some speech elements to parts of the courses. The controls of the courses are easy to navigate: they are like the transport controls on a tape player.
