The Center for Economic Development and Research at UNT is
seeking students
interested in housing issues to showcase their work during the

Monday, April 30, 2007
UNT Gateway Center, Room 34
9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
Luncheon with Keynote Speaker 12:00 p.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Cost: $35.00
Registrations due by 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 24, 2007.
(Due to space limitations, we will be unable to accept registrations at the door
on the day of the conference.)
Participants include experts from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, and the United Kingdom in addition to U.S. experts at the national and local levels.
Poster Sessions:
Undergraduate students are invited to consult with an advising professor and prepare a poster presentation on housing issues. Judging of poster session will be conducted by local, national, and international experts participating in the symposium. A minimum of two (2) monetary prizes of $250 each will be awarded to the top posters. Completed posters must be submitted for approval to Dr. Clower no later than 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 26, 2007.
Research Paper:
Graduate students are invited to consult with an advising professor and prepare a research paper on housing issues. Judging of papers will be conducted by local, national, and international experts participating in the symposium. Final research papers are due by 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2007. At least one (1) monetary prizes of $500 each will be awarded to the top research paper.
FREE registration will be given to the first TEN (10) students who:
- Develop a research topic for presentation by poster session or research paper;
- Obtain signatures of a faculty member who will be advising and guiding the student on the research; and
- Complete the registration form and return it to Dr. Terry Clower.
All students need to use the registration form at this link in order to receive one of the free registrations available.
