Jesse L. Senderson

                                                                                Biographical Sketch

 

        Jesse Senderson is faculty lecturer in the Department of Criminal Justice, University of North              

        Texas, Dallas campus.  In 2007, Mr. Senderson began his 15th year as a faculty Criminal Justice

        Instructor. He earned his M. A. in Criminal Justice from Troy University,  Troy, Alabama and B.S. 

        in History and Political Science ,  University of Arkansas, Pine Bluff, Arkansas.

 

        Jesse Senderson has an  extensive career in Criminal Justice which spans nearly twenty five years . 

        He has   worked as a supervisor for Dallas County Community Supervision and Corrections Department,

        Dallas, Texas,  where he helped develop and implement the Electronic Monitoring Program.  This program

        actively supervised more than 300 criminal offenders.  Mr. Senderson also is credited with the development

        of pre-trial Electronic Monitoring program for release on bond in Dallas County, Texas.

 

        Jesse Senderson has previous employment experience in Institutional Corrections as a Parole  Officer,

        State of Arkansas; regional training and prosecutorial support for States Attorneys and law enforcement ,

        State of Illinois;  Police Detective, City of Montgomery, Alabama.

 

        Jesse Senderson has served as Associate Director, UNT Center for Public Service working with local

        communities as well as Guadalajara, Mexico to improve the quality of life through sustainable  communities.

 

        Jesse Senderson has interests in social justice, community corrections, sustainable communities, police

        community relations, and social service programs for seniors within the neighborhood.
