PRAXIS

    Students electing to use Praxis to satisfy course requirements concerning the term project, must, in addition to completing the requirements of the 'Praxis Guideline', produce and submit the following critique:

  1. a description/identification of the policy implementation the program you observed has undertaken
  2. an assessment as to the political agenda supporting the program and the political agenda that would/does not support the program and why?
  3. and evaluation of the program as to its' possible/probable effects on serious crime

Form
    The body of the document should be no longer than three pages, typed and double-spaced.  It should begin with a title page identifying the Praxis site.

Evaluation Criteria
    The critique will be evaluated on the basis of the clarity and accuracy of the response it makes to the three evaluative criteria listed above and compliance with the guidelines as to the form and the deadline.  The critique will count 25% of the total Praxis grade.
