Bureau of Justice Statistics  -  is the United States' primary source for criminal justice statistics. BJS collects, analyzes, publishes, and disseminates information on crime, criminal offenders, victims of crime, and the operation of justice systems at all levels of government.

Nation Criminal Justice Reference Service (NCJRS) Database--A web version of the widely available NCJRS Document Database on CD-ROM, this database contains summaries of criminal justice literature, government reports, journal articles, books, and more.
National Criminal Justice Reference Service Abstracts Database - This searchable NCJRS Abstracts Database contains summaries of more than 140,000 criminal justice publications, including Federal, State, and local government reports, books, research reports, journal articles, and unpublished research. There are a variety of search options available.
National Institute of Justice (NIJ) - The NIJ, a component of the Office of Justice Programs, is the research and developmental agency of the U.S. Department of Justice. The Justice Technology Information Network (JUSTNET) is a service of the National Law Enforcement and Corrections Technology Center (http://www.nlectc.org/) which is a program of the NIJ.
