The Peer Advocate Program is a new initiative at the University of North Texas designed to give students support and assistance while navigating the student conduct process. Situations that place students in the judicial process are often complex and overwhelming. The Peer Advocate can provide a steady hand to lead students through what is often a very stressful and turbulent process.
Our purpose as Peer Advocates is to provide knowledge-based, confidential advising and consulting for students. We are available to answer questions regarding the judicial process, a student's specific judicial case, and any questions regarding the Center for Student Rights and Responsibilities. We are here to provide support and assistance throughout the entire judicial process. We can also help students prepare for their judicial hearing.
Prior to the hearing we can:
After the hearing we can explain any sanctions, answer any questions, and assist students with beginning the appeal process if necessary.

I became a Peer Advocate so that I would have the opportunity to help fellow students in need.
