Colorful, powerful, snarling, growling…
New branding unveiled for UNT Dallas Campus - and future UNT Dallas
Brilliant gold and blue colors and a powerful jaguar mascot were unveiled to a trumpet fanfare - and the sounds of the snarling, growling big cat - at a special Leap Forward! branding event hosted by Lee F. Jackson, chancellor of the UNT System, and Dr. John Price, UNT vice provost for the Dallas Campus. The by-invitation-only event was attended by more than 100 enthusiastic supporters.
The UNT Dallas Campus will adopt the new brand and images immediately, and they will later be used by the new University of North Texas at Dallas when it is established as a stand-alone institution.
In presenting the new marks and images, Chancellor Jackson said, "These dynamic branding marks, which you’ll begin to see this month in the first UNT Dallas campus building, will rapidly become the symbols and colors that students, faculty, staff, and the public associate with a unique and dynamic institution. They will bring a proud sense of community to their campus.”

The Office of Marketing, News, and Information is in the process of developing a Web-based Identity Guide. Within this online version of the Identity Guide, employees will be able to download the brand marks in various formats.
Until the Web version is complete, all UNT Dallas Campus employees publishing mass communications should contact Gregory Tomlin, Director of Marketing, News and Information, for access to brand marks.
Please clear all uses of wordmarks and logos through the marketing office.
