KINETIC REQUEST OVERVIEW AND DEMO
Derick Larson of Kinetic Data Corporation provided an overview of kinetic and their software products for the BMC Remedy ARS environment. Derick was on site to provide training on the Kinetic Request product which is slated to replace the functionality of custom incident submission pages programmed in perl on the current Remedy system.

He said that Steve Vocelka and Nancy Fisher's groups will be renamed to take EIS out of the name, reflecting the expanded scope of support for those organizations.
OLD BUSINESS
It was announced that Elizabeth Hinkle-Turner will have a report on metering software for the next DCSMT meeting.
Dan Kidd mentioned that Dell Optiplex 745 desktops were near end of life, and recommended that similar configurations in the 755 be adopted as the recommended systems for UNT. He suggested adding a video card to support use of dual monitors and adoption of the 17-inch flat panel display which supports analog as well as digital input (require for dual monitor use.) Philip Baczewski promised to distribute the proposed new configurations to DCSMT members as well as those involved in the development of the Optiplex 745 recommendations.
