Minutes from November 6, 2009, were approved as written.


Brian Dietrich and Drew Peterson from Intel Corp. presented an overview of Intel's processor line and discussed other technologies that Intel supports includin VPro, Intel's Dynamic Virtual Client, and solid state drive technology.


Philip Baczewski announced that a more detailed presentation on the Microsoft Desktop Optimization Package would be held on Monday, November 23.


No new business was discussed.


Jason Myre (CITC Messaging) reported that Microsoft Unified Messaging service was being tested.

Paul Hons (COE) reported problems with compatibility between Optiplex 960 PC's and their older UPS units.

Craig Terrell (CITC Directory Services) reported that the AD migration to Windows 2008 server was 2/3's done and that it would be completed by the next week.


The meeting was adjourned at 11:45 a.m. The next meeting is scheduled for December 4, 2009.
