Impact of giving

You don't have to make a big donation to have a sizable impact. When you make an annual gift to UNT, your participation alone has value. Furthermore, your gift is combined with thousands of others — from alumni, parents, friends, students, faculty and staff — to benefit students in big ways

While everyone may not be in a place to make a major gift, you can join others to create a foundation of support for all UNT students.

• Annual gifts of any size help provide scholarships and support for undergraduate and graduate research.
• $100 can purchase a required manual for a Counseling student
• $200 can help students participate in national competitions like the National Logistics Challenge—won by a UNT College of Business team again!
• $400 would enable a Music student to enroll in specialized summer workshops, working with renowned instructors and faculty.
• $500 covers the cost of one summer class hour for a graduate student, who is most likely also conducting research and teaching undergraduate classes at the same time.
• $600 can provide scholarship money that pays for a Visual Arts and Design student's required art supplies for one semester
• $800 could support a Merchandising and Hospitality student's semester abroad, allowing the student to acquire an invaluable global perspective
• $1,000 could fund a Public Affairs and Community Service student's otherwise unpaid internship in a community in desperate need of social services
