Eliot Jennings graduated
from UNT with a degree in Emergency Administration and Planning in
1997. Prior to entering UNT, he served for 10 years in the US Navy Nuclear
Power Program, submarine service. Following graduation, Jennings held
the positions of Operations & Planning Coordinator for Galveston County
Office of Emergency Management; Emergency Management Coordinator for the
City of Galveston; and Emergency Management Coordinator for Galveston
County Office of Emergency Management.
Jennings has served as
Vice President of the Texas Gulf Coast Emergency Management Association,
and as adjunct instructor for State of Texas Division of Emergency
Management: Principles of Emergency Management Course Hurricane
Planning course. He has presented at various state and national
conferences, including the State of Texas Emergency Management
Conference, and the National Hurricane Conference.
Jennings is currently
pursuing the Master of Public Administration degree at UNT.
