Multicultural Center Mission:

    The Multicultural Center was created to promote an understanding of underrepresented cultures within the University of North Texas community and foster positive relationships among all students, staff, faculty, and administrators.  We are committed to increasing the involvement and knowledge base of all members through communication across cultures and respecting all individuals.  The Center strives to maintain a positive, nurturing, culturally centered environment that is conducive to the "edu-cultural" and psychosocial development of culturally diverse populations, as well as the university and surrounding community.

 Multicultural Center Vision:

    The Multicultural Center's vision is To provide programs which present and advocate opportunities for dialogue on cultural issues, empower students of color to engage in leadership opportunities through student organization involvement and the Buddy System mentoring program.  Also, the Multicultural Center will serve as a clearinghouse for information on cultural issues and concerns and as operate as a referral system.
