7. Vending Machines & Pay State Telephones authorized:
Vending machines - Revenue for FY99 = $302,170.03. Funds are transferred monthly, based on revenue, to a scholarship account. This totaled $40,714.20 for FY 99. The balance of commissions is transferred to Unallocated Fund Balance for Unrestricted Current Funds- Auxiliary Funds, Pledged. These funds are pledged to the repayment of bonds, Series 1985 and 1997.
Phones - Revenue on commissions paid for FY99 = $3,524.15. Disposal of funds: (1) Used to
pay any direct facility costs (work orders to Physical Plant or Telecommunications staff to
provide infrastructure needs of the pay phones); (2) Purchase of new telecommunication equipment (for general campus use) for the purposes of testing and evaluation prior to adding to supported equipment list; (3) Supplement or pay all costs of Telecommunications staff training and travel; (4) Miscellaneous - Funds are used to pay Telecommunications Office or Physical Plant expenses that cannot be paid from state funds.
Personal Use of State Vehicles:
Pursuant to Art.IX, Sec. 20(4), of H.B. 1, 75th Leg., R..S. of the Appropriations Bill, the University allows designated vehicles to be used for employees commuting. Each of the persons on this list is certified individually as the result of his specific job requirements necessary to insure important university functions. The vehicle drivers and their job functions are as follows:
