Student Code of Conduct Appeals Dr. Elizabeth With, Chair

Composition and authority of each hearing: 2 faculty members, 2 staff members, 2 students, and 1 administrator. A
representative from the Dean of Students Office will be present during the hearings as a resource person. Faculty
members are appointed by the President to serve on the Committee on Student Code of Conduct for a period of 3
consecutive years. Six (6) faculty members will be appointed, 1/3 of whom will be replaced each year to preserve
continuity of experience. The President will designate one of the faculty members as permanent chairman for administrative
purposes. Four at-large faculty members will be appointed. Student participants will be limited to junior, senior and/or
graduate students. Six (6) shall be appointed by the President of the Student Government Association. Administrative
members are appointed by the President. Three (3) will be appointed, 1 of whom will be replaced each year. This
representation shall not be selected from the Office of the Dean of Students.
