@ - Faculty Senator

Membership: 12 members - 8 faculty elected by the Senate, 1 academic dean elected by the academic deans,
and 1 student appointed by the Student Government Association & the Registrar. The chair shall be elected
by the members of the committee.

Terms: faculty members 3 years, student members and academic dean - 1 year

Membership: 3 Senators elected by the Senate, the committee shall elect a chair from among its members.

Terms: Shall end the day before the September meeting following the expiration of his/her Senate term.

Membership: 10 members consisting of 8 faculty; one from each group, representative of all four faculty ranks and
2 ex-officio members: VP for Fiscal Affairs & the Human Resources Director. The committee shall elect a chair.

Terms: faculty members - 3 years

Membership: 1 Senator from each of the 9 constituency groups of the Senate, elected by fellow Senators in that group,
plus the Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary of the Senate. The Senate Executive Committee shall appoint a chair. The
chair is not required to be one of the group representatives.

Terms: from September to the beginning of the following September meeting.

Membership: 12 members, 8 tenured faculty (one from each group) or librarians (with 5 year contracts) and 4
university administrators appointed by the Provost & VP for Academic Affairs. The committee shall elect a chair.

Terms: 3 years - with terms of faculty members staggered so that no more than 3 expire in any given year.

Membership: 10 members; 8 Senators - one from each group, one faculty member selected from both the URC & UPTC.
The committee shall elect a chair.

Terms: Shall coincide with his/her senate term at the time of the election. No faculty member shall serve more than 3
consecutive years.

Membership: 5 faculty members representing a variety of academic disciplines nominated by the Committee on
Committees and approved by the Faculty Senate. The members will elect a chair.

Term: 3 years

Membership: 8 faculty representing a variety of disciplines nominated by the Committee on Committees and approved
by the Faculty Senate. The Chair of this committee also serves on the UNT League for Professional Women.

Term: 3 years

Membership: 18 faculty members elected by the Faculty Senate: two faculty members representing each senate voting
group plus two at-large faculty members; five students selected by the Student Association; the deans of those colleges
and schools that offer an undergraduate curriculum or their designees; the dean of the library or his/her designee;
the registrar; and the deputy provost or his/her designee. All faculty members must have experience dealing with
curricular issues at the department or college/school level within the previous three years of their election to the UCC.
Student members and the registrar will be non-voting ex-officio members. Deans and their designees that have full or
part-time administrative appointments will be ex-officio non-voting. Designees who are full time faculty members or
librarians will be ex-officio voting. The following restrictions shall apply to the selection of committee members: (1) no
more than one faculty member may be elected from any sub-unit within a senate voting group; and (2) the five student
members shall represent different areas of study. There shall be a faculty co-chair who shall be elected by the voting
members of the UCC. The Deputy Provost or his/her designee shall serve as administrative co-chair and facilitate the
work of the committee by gathering and presenting documents for meetings and other preparatory functions and serve
as the convener of the committee.

Terms: The term of a faculty member of the committee shall be three years with a second three year term available.
The term of student members shall be one year.

Membership: 10 members: 1 faculty member from each group and 2 at-large members, all elected by the Faculty
Senate. The committee shall elect a chair.

Terms: 3 yrs.

Membership: 5 members: 4 faculty members elected by the Senate and 1 member appointed by the Provost & VP for
Academic Affairs to serve as chair.

Terms: faculty members - 3 yrs. The appointed member shall serve at the pleasure of the Provost.

Membership: 10 members: 8 faculty members, one from each group, elected by the Faculty Senate, and 2 ex-officio
members, designated by the Provost and VP for Academic Affairs. The committee shall elect a chair from its members.

Terms: faculty members - 3 yrs.

Membership: 10 members; 8 tenured faculty members elected by the Faculty Senate - one from each voting group, the
Dean of the Toulouse Graduate School, and the Vice-President for Research, who will serve as chair of the committee.
The Chair of the committee has the authority to appoint up to two additional non-voting members, subject to the
approval of the Faculty Research Committee, for the purpose of advising on proposals.

Terms: faculty members - 3 yrs.

Membership: 11 members elected by the Faculty Senate according to the following: 1 member from each of the 8
voting groups and 3 members elected at-large. Elections shall be such that no single subunit is represented by more
than 1 member. The committee shall elect a chair from among its members.

Terms: 3 yrs

Membership: 8 faculty members elected by the senate, one from each of the senate voting groups, with preference for
at least 3 senators on the committee at all times. The committee will elect a chair from among its members.

Terms: 3 years

Membership: 8 senators - one from each of the voting groups of the Senate plus the Chair, Vice-Chair, and Secretary
of the Senate and the immediate past chair of the senate. The Vice-Chair of the senate will serve as chair.

Terms: end at the completion of his/her present 3 year term, past senate chair shall serve a 1 year term.

Membership: 5 faculty members appointed by the Faculty Senate; 5 staff members appointed by the UNT Staff Council;
2 ex-officio faculty or staff members appointed by the VP for Student Development; and 6 student representatives
appointed by the President of the UNT Student Government Association. The VP for Student Development shall
designate 1 of the 2 ex-officio members (he/she names to the committee) to serve as co-chairperson of the committee. The
student co-chairperson of the committee shall be appointed by the President of the Student Government Association.

Terms: 3 yrs, with the exception of student members whose terms shall be 1 year.

Membership: 11 committee members consisting of 9 faculty members elected by the faculty senate - 1 from each
voting group and 1 at-large, 1 staff member selected by the Dean of Students and 1 student selected by the SGA.
The committee will select a chair from it's members.

Terms: Faculty - 3 years, students - 1 yr.

Membership: All members are appointed by the FS Executive Committee - restructured 11-2000. There will be 11
members: 8 tenured faculty members - 1 from each voting group, 3 tenured faculty members appointed by the Chair
of the Assessment Committee - can be any tenured/tenure track faculty member.

Term: 3 years

Membership: 13 members: 8 faculty members - 1 from each group, elected by the Faculty Senate; 1 member appointed
by the Director of the Office of Development; 1 member appointed by the Director of the Office of Financial Aid; 2
students selected by the Student Government Association; and the Director of the University Scholarship Office,
ex-officio, who shall serve as the chair of the committee.

Terms: students - 1 year, all others - 3 yrs.

Membership: 8 faculty members elected by the senate - 1 from each group. The committee shall elect a chair from it's
members.

Terms: 3 yrs, staggered so that no more than 3 vacancies are created in any one year.

Membership: 8 faculty members - 1 from each group. The FS Executive Committee shall designate the Chair of the
committee from among the committee members.

Terms: 3 yrs.

Membership: 15 members: 8 faculty members - 1 from each group elected by the Senate; 1 undergraduate student
selected by the Student Government Association; 1 graduate student appointed by the Graduate Student Council;
1 alumnus appointed by the VP of Development; the Dean of the Graduate School (ex-officio); the Provost and VP
for Academic Affairs (ex-officio); the Assoc. VP for University Planning (ex-officio); and the Dean of the Libraries
(ex-officio). The committee shall elect a chair from among the members of the committee.

Terms: faculty - 3 years., staggered so that no more than 3 faculty members expire in any given year. Students - 1 yr,
alumni - 2 years

Membership: 1 representative from each College/School, the Director of the University Writing Center, and the Director
of the writing program in the English department. These nominations are made by Deans and approved by the Faculty
Senate.1 at-large faculty position approved by the faculty senate.

Terms: 3 yrs. - staggered so that no more than 3 vacancies are created in any one year. Administrative members terms
are not limited.

Membership: Consists of 5 (five) T/TT faculty, one of which may be a Dean or other administrator. The committee
will elect a chair. Two (2) additional members from each college or school whose charters are being reviewed may
be appointed by the Dean of the college/school to provide insight into the nuances of their charter/bylaws.

Terms: 3 years with a second 3 year term available
